{Sparkle Pumpkin Jenga}

So I might or might not have a small addiction to decorating my fireplace mantle.  It is pretty much the first thing your eyes are drawn too when you walk in to our town home, and I feel like I am always brainstorming new ways to fill the space with something creative.  My addiction started the first Christmas Mr. J and I were married.  I decided the mantle would be home to a small and growing collection of sparkle Christmas trees.  So you can imagine my excitement when last year TJMaxx started carrying glitter pumpkins.  Thus began the game of pumpkin jenga on my mantle.  Mr. J has only knocked all the pumpkins off once over the past month, which I consider a real win for us as clumsy as we both can be.  The string of mini tin flags is a new addition, and you can write on the little flags with chalk.  Endless hours of message fun...Happy Halloween...J

{These Boots}

I love over the knee boots.  For those of you that share my affection, you know how hard they are to find in rich leather and not in the pleather variety.  I was one happy camper when I found these cuties at TJMaxx last month.  Happy Friday....J

Every once in awhile I like to stroll down DahliaLynnLane, and pick a certain accessory type to see how I have been incorporating those pieces in to my look.  It is always fun to see the accessories that become frequent flyers in my wardrobe, and remember which ones I need to take out for a spin more often.  Just a couple of clutch pictures I pulled.  Which is your favorite??  I hope to see you tomorrow...J

Today I wish I was wearing THIS sweet, little number in THAT comfy living room.  I love Navajo print, so these shorts really caughts my eye.  They would be perfect with that striped shirt for the crazy warm weather we have still been having in Nashville.  I am also a sucker for hats and antlers.  Happy Tuesday....J

So these are my favorite cowgirl boots.  They were already broken in when I bought them...distressed if you will.  After wearing these for the entire day Sunday, I realized my sweet pup, Tucker, had chewed a hole in the back of one of the boots.  Not sure when this happened.  I am wondering if the hole goes with the whole distressed thing?  Not sure...J
