{This in That: Green with Envy}

{here}

{here}
Usually Sunday {which I have declared family day in our neck of the woods} includes the following...
{1} Yummy Brunch made by yours truly, croissant french toast and pulled pork & pepper jack egg white omletts are my speciality.  {2} Trip to the dog park.  {3} Blog picture fun.  {4} An occasional trip to my favorite antique stores.  {5} Grocery run and house clean.  {6} Family trip to the movies.  {7} A tasty slow cooker meal, tonight is skinny mexican turkey chili.

This Sunday {and every Sunday in August for that matter,} will still include some of the usual cooking and cleaning minus the fun runs to the dog park, window shopping, and movies because of work.  For those of you that don't know, I work at Vanderbilt University in the Office of Housing and Residential Education, specifically with first year students.  So you can imagine that August brings student staff training, building prep for 1600 first year students, and the fun that ensues when those 1600 first year students arrive on campus mid to late August.

Don't get me wrong, I love my day job, but this time of year I certainly catch myself daydreaming about calmer times.  As I sit here today still in my polka dot night shirt, surrounded by mountains of laundry, to do lists, projects, and emails, I caught myself browsing the web and hoping that I was sitting in an office like the one above wearing some fierce green skinnies with leopard booties like the outfit aboe, which leads me to my new, hopefully weekly feature, "This in That."  It is that simple.  I wish I was wearing this cute outfit in that cute office, which leaves me...you guessed it...GREEN with envy!  Can you relate....J
