{New News & New Jewels}

Hi there friends!  I hope everyone is having an amazing day.  So first, I can't tell you how much I have appreciated your support of DahliaLynn the blog and the jewelry since the very beginning.   It is your ecouragment that has made DahliaLynn, so much more than I could of hoped for.   I get regular emails from many of your interested in new product and curious to know where I find many of my vintage jewels, and the answer usually is, "All over the place."  

Soooo what many of you don't know is that when I do my trunk shows, I  include not only DahlaLynn handmade pieces, but DahliaLynn Vintage.  The DL Vintage collection is a special collection of vintage jewels I find from all over the place that I have fixed, polished, and prepared for my clients.  The DL Vintage line has a very similar feel to my everyday style, which is a mix of bohemian, vintage, and classic.   

The collection is very popular at my trunk shows, so with a little encouragement from my sweet husband and a good friend, I have decided to expand my Etsy site to include DahliaLynn Vintage.   I can't tell you how excited I am to not only bring you handmade jewels, but vintage pieces that I am passionate about.  One of my dreams has always been to one day have an accessories store that holds not only my handmade jewels, but vintage jewels.  So I thought, why not go ahead and start now with expanding my Etsy shop.

Michelle form SecondEastStreet found this quirky room design from Bailey McCarthy this week, and I just love it.  The bright green and peach together are perfection.  I went a little bohemian with the outfit look, but hey it's summer.  Happy Thursday...J

{Perfect Bunny}

I just have to share that this little bunny was created after a couple days of not washing my hair and a day of yard work.  I think it is probably the best bunny I have ever created.  Not sure if I should be encouraging myself to wash my hair less often, but I will say dry shampoo has become an old friend at this point.  After the grungy yard work photos on Monday and sharing that I don't wash my hair everyday, DahliaLynn is taking a turn from the regular, not really just being a bit more honest around here.  Happy Hump Day...J

Saw a master bedroom suite recently in a design book that was almost head to toe Canary yellow.  Now I don't think that would necessarily make for a soothing space in our master, but I have been searching for some inspiration every since.  So today I wouldn't mind slipping in to THAT pretty dress in THIS canary bedroom.  Happy Tues...J

{True Life}

So today is probably a different post than you are used to. Before getting a house, I did spend a lot of weekends on little adventures, usually all dolled up, on the weekends. Since getting a house and having lots of plans to fix things up, my Sunday's, especially, look a little different.  Though I usually clean up for dinner, yesterday I was just really tired form a long day gardening.  So here you have it, me in my natural gardening habitat.  Hope you are not to disappointed, but man was I comfy....J

{The Gimmies}

I was doing a little search for tan bags to wear with my two pairs of tan flats that I have been wearing non-stop.  I stumbled upon this little lovely and have been checking back in on the site frequently.  I think that if the Celine Shopper and Givenchy Nightingale had a cheap baby this would probably be it, and I love it!  I hope everyone is gearing up for a fun weekend.  Happy Thursday...J
