New Blooms

"Bloom where you are planted."  I had not heard this saying until last Wednesday, when my dear friend shared the quote on her blog.  After several crazy weeks of moving, I really felt like last week everything started to seem real.  Yes we did in fact pack up our life and move hundreds of miles away.  As it turns out, this is not a dream.  So as we start to build a new life in a city much different than Nashville, I find so much comfort in this simple saying.  "Bloom where you are planted."  Reminds me that regardless of where I live, I still get to be the same person, married to the same man, with the same family, friends, and memories.  Only difference is I get to bloom again in a new spot, which in turn will bring new friends, new memories, and new challenges.  And the great thing is....I get to have a hand in it all.  Cheers to new blooms!!  Happy Monday...J
