{Jewels, Jewels, & More Jewels}

Happy Wednesday!  I am sorry I have been a little light on the posting around here this month.  This is my really busy time of year at my day job with lots of special events coming up.  In addition, I have another store that will be carrying some of my one-of-a-kind DahliaLynn pieces.  So I have been hard at work making some new goodies.  When I start to get elbow deep in the creative process, I always find myself thinking back on some of the pieces I have made that have already gone to new homes.  After gathering up some old photos, I could not help but share them with you.  Hope everyone is having a great week....J

New Friends

So last night I went out on the town for a Southern Blog Society Nashville Dinner.  In addition to SBS, I have Jess to thank for arranging such a fun night with so many lovely ladies.  After talking blogs, dogs, and day jobs, I was looking forward to heading home and checking out some new amazing sites.  The photos above are just a little teaser of what you could be missing out on if you don't get to know these ladies.  They are seriously talented!  So if you are a blog lover like me, take some time this weekend to get to know these ladies.  Happy Friday!!

Falling for Florals and Imperfections...

Soooo.....today I am helping my buddy Krista, while she is out of the office.  I am sharing some serious floral tips, so if you are still not exactly sure how to wear that new floral item you picked up, head on over to Junkin, Diggin, and Getting Lost.  Hopefully, I can get you to fall for some florals.  You will also have to excuse some of the typos I made in that post, I have never been great with spelling or grammer, as I am sure you have noticed, but made more than the usual mistake in that post.  Hoping you will embrace my imperfections.  Happy Tuesday...J

New Jewels

So have any of you noticed the major new jewels I have been uploading to my Etsy shop?  As a friendly reminder you can find my shop here or by following the shop tab at the top of my blog.  I do my very best to post things as often as possible, but with store buyers and some  of my amazing supporters things go fast.

For those of you that are new around DahliaLynn you will find that may shop has two sections, DahliaLynn Designs and DahliaLynn Vintage.  The "designs" are one of a kind pieces that I have designed and created using vintage elements, beads, and wire work.  The "vintage pieces" are carefully curated vintage pieces that I find and fix up to their natural potential just for you.

You should take a quick look at all the new goodies.  I would love to know what your favorite pieces are...but the best part about today is that you can enter my latest giveaway.  Think a free $100 worth of jewels.  Check out this lovely post for details.  Happy Wednesday...J

I Spy...

Happy Tuesday Loves!  So excited today to share a little DahliaLynn necklace that was on Tulip Louise's site recently.  Not only is she a personal best buddy, but this was the first piece of jewelry that I ever sold.  It was support like TL's that gave me the courage to make and sell my pieces.  Love you TL, and I can't wait for all that lies ahead.  Happy Tuesday...J

Self Guided SF Tour

Happy Monday Lovies!!  So far Monday is looking great.  We just got back from a trip home to AR where we got lots of time with friends and my family, and Thursday we are headed back to Iowa to see Stuart's friends and family.  Lots of travel, but life doesn't get any better.  I wanted to share some shorts from our the self guided tour Stuart and I took ourselves on in SF for our 4 year anniversary.

It was the one day of the trip where we really did not have a plan, but looking back at the pictures, I think it was my favorite.  We started the day with a run along the bay, followed by a drive from Oakland to SF, took a self guided tour around SF {we hit a lot of musts in my opinion..An amazing consignment store, the Ferry Building, Coit Tower, Lombard Street, Fisherman's Warf, the Ghirardelli Chocolate, happy hour at the hotel, and dinner with friends}.  I can't imagine a better way to spend our 4th anniversary.  Stuart will be out in Oakland for a project the entire next year, and I am certain that will not be my last trip to the bay area.  I fell in love, but I am pretty sure the company was what really made my trip so special {I mean you, Stuart}.

Do you have a favorite picture of the ones we snapped?  Have you guys gone on any fun trips this summer?  I would love to hear about them.  I hope everyone has an amazing start to the week.  Don't forget to check back in this week because I will have details on my next amazing giveaway.  Talk soon...J

Blog Nashville Goes to Pura Vida

Thanks for the week off friends.  I spent last week celebrating a 4 year anniversary with my love, visiting San Francisco and Napa for the first time, and taking some much needed R&R.  As lovely as it was I am excited to be back and in action sharing some of my recent fun.  My vacation started off with a fun night at Pura Vida Vintage to celebrate the 2nd Blog Nashville event.

I am certain that we could not have picked a better spot to host the 2nd Blog Nashville event.  Pura Vida Vintage is simply, lovely.  Like a small jewel box filled with vintage goodies there was something fun in every inch of that little place.  It was the perfect way to spend a Tuesday night chatting with blog buddies, toasting new friends, and  playing dress up.

If you live in Nashville or are in the area any time, Pura Vida Vintage is a must!  I would love it if you took a moment to check out all of the lovely ladies that attended with me.  Cheers to the next one and Happy Monday!
